1) How should i prepare for my eyelash extension session?

Before arriving to each appointment, please make sure to be totally mascara free!

  • The cleaner the lashes, the longer the lash retention will be.
  • The glue/adhesive will not adhere to mascara residue, so they will shed prematurely.
  • Making sure your lashes are completely clean for application will give you the best results possible!

2) I recently had my eyelashes permed. Can I get eyelash extension?

Synthetic eyelash extensions can only be applied two – three months after your natural eyelashes have been permed.

3) Will eyelash extensions make my own lashes fall out?

No, eyelash extension will not cause the lashes to fall off prematurely if it’s professionally done. But since lashes have their own lash growth cycle as well, it normal if your lashes drop during the shedding period. We are expected to drop 3-5 natural lashes daily.

4) Are these eyelash extensions glued directly to my skin?

All our lash artist is trained to place the lash extension approximately 1mm from the eyelid skin.

5) Why have some eyelash extensions fallen out just a few days after they were done?

Eyelashes are just like hair. They have lash growth cycle too and each of your individual natural lashes is expected to fall out within a month. Your lashes will fall out naturally. Every day we should expect to drop up to 5 natural lashes.

6) How long do they last?

Our eyelash extensions should last approximately 3-6 weeks. The key is to take good care of them and make sure that you clean off eye make up properly for longer retention.

7) Who is a bad candidate for eyelash extension?

  • If you suffer from allergies or hayfever and are prone to rubbing your eyes, you are not a good candidate for eyelash extensions.
  • People who have sensitive skin all around the eye area when using make up or any sort of skin care may not consider eyelash extensions.

8) When should I come in for a refill of lashes?

It is recommended to come in every 2-3 weeks for lash refill as we need to clean your lashes in order to keep them clean & healthy.

9) Can I still wear eye makeup?

Yes, you can still wear eye makeup. Just make sure that you are using water-based makeup remover when taking them off.

10) How do I maintain the lashes after my eyelash extensions appointment?

  • Do not get lashes wet for the first 12 hours so that the glue can completely dry.
  • Avoid any sort of saunas or steam rooms for the first 2 full days to allow the glue to cure.
  • Avoid eye rubbing or touching your eyelashes. You are going to naturally be curious about your new lashes, but keep your hands off of your eyelashes and just admire them with your eyes.
  • Learn to wash and dry your face gently.
  • To prolong the life of your extensions, avoid using mascara.
  • Avoid any oil products, petroleum jelly or eye makeup remover.
  • Learn to sleep on your back to protect your new synthetic eyelash extensions.
  • The key to long lasting synthetic eyelash extensions is to keep your hands off of your eyes except when cleaning the eye area.
